Thurs. night when Dan was gone to his board meeting, the kids got out of the house as I was cleaning up dinner. They got out the pattio doors and got full of mud in the little time before I noticed. So, we made an evening of playing in the mud. They got the biggest kick out of walking in their rainboots in the waterfilled ditch--they walked so deep in the water that the water filled their boots- but they didn't care. I will post those pictures; it gets dark so fast that the pictures were kind of hard to see. I will also post a video as a trial run--let me know if it works. The video is from their summer preschool with Maria. okay, so I couldn't get the video to work--will try again another time.
