The kids really like having a big area of snow to play in. Our neighbor pushes all the snow in a big pile in the open lot next to us and this has provided lots of opportunity to play! There is a pretty nice sledding hill made with this pile. With some encouragement from me, the kids usually play outsides by themselves for quite some time. Avery is unsure of the snow and usally doesn't like to be put down or pulled in the sled, so I usally stay inside with her; but today the weather was mild and so we helped her adjust to being in the snow a little--she even dared to walk by herself!! Progress!
Avery smiles easily when she sees the camera come out.
Winter evenings are usally spent horsing around with daddy (okay a terrible pun I know). This horse's back may break soon under all that weight, but the kids sure love it and Avery isn't about to be left out!!!
