Fall activities

We had a beautiful day at the apple orchard and since then have enjoyed a couple apple crisps. . . might even try an apple pie:)  Dan wanted to get those apples close to the top and he had three helpers--who needs ladders!  Here Caleb goes for those "biggies" as Dan called them. 

Dan said that every time he put Kylie on his shoulders, this would happen with his glasses!                                                                       Bennet holds up his "twin apples"  picked simultaneously. 

Avery wanted so badly to eat all the apples, but it would make her quite frustrated because she couldn't get much and she would drop them.  We actually were quite hot at the orchard. . .as you can see from the pictures below, the weather has turned dramatically!                           Kylie is standing in these leaves!Close up of Kylie sitting in the leaves.

On the boys' day off they wanted to earn some money doing yard work. . .this small pile grew today into what you see Kylie in.  I meant to take a picture of our trees. . .Hardly any leaves have fallen--most are still green!  YIKES!
