Christmas concert marathon!

The Night before Christmas Caper was Kylie and the boy's school Christmas musical.  The second graders were all "Angels with an attitude", they sang "what you gonna name that baby" and Bennet had a cute solo at the end of the song.  (above Caleb back left, Michael, Bennet, Christian)
The Kindergarteners were the Nativity scene and Kylie was a bunny!  She stands in front of the gingerbread house winners for the school contest--lets just say our graham cracker village didn't stand a chance to these!!!
Kylie on stage!
Kylie and her classmates watching a video while the band played before the musical.
Angels with attitudes watched "The Grinch" while the band played.

Next Bennet(L) and Caleb (R) were shepherds for our church musical "Tiff's gifts".  Bennet and Caleb each had an individual solo and they also sang with a small group of boys.
Kylie's class also sang songs before the musical in church.
Caleb held the box still for the verse, but began passing when "The gift goes on" chorus began.
Caleb about ready to sing his solo.  He might be embarrassed to talk about this, but for memory sake...He tripped on his robe BADLY when walking down the risers--we were sitting quite far back and all of a sudden I see some feet above the people's heads and Caleb was on his belly!  His shepherds crown saved his head he told me later.  He didn't seem embarrassed at the time, but when people kept asking him how he was afterward, he began to be embarrassed.  Also for memory sake...Avery was sitting with us during the concert and was beginning to get frustrated about something when all of a sudden she lets out a BIG toot--the guy next to me begins to shake with laughter and gives me a thumbs up.  She also got mad when she heard me tell someone about it and told me it is NOT funny.

The kids were worn out this weekend!  They had 4 musical performances!!!  Then they were babysat by many different people as Dan and I had the SW board/staff Christmas party and all the staffs' kids were at our house--9 kids (5 were 2 and under).  And as a family we were the advent readers.  It was a busy weekend, but everything was fun!  I was glad today I could "relax" and get caught up on dishes, laundry and just not leave the house!

Does the 4 performances include Avery's "audience participation"? Because I think that technically makes it 5.
