Updates

Happy after her bath--she needs them after her messy eating!

Creative naptime. . .or not naptime, just play time.

Okay, so this is why my little girl is so little--I thought she was eating a lot, but when I took her out, this is where it all was!  "Mess maker Mess maker make me a mess. . ."we sing as we clean it up:)

Avery likes putting "hats" on her head. . . in this case Kylie's underwear is her hat:)

You can see the water is over the walking/biking path here!

The bridges over the MN river have been closed due to flooding.  We have lived here for 9 years and this is the first year it has happened--we had to check it out one night, but couldn't see too much. They have been closed for 3 weeks now and we are getting ready to have them opened again.
Avery wasn't so happy in the car on the way to Edgerton, she was sick of it.

On Friday morning, we ran into town to see Great-grandma Agnes and wish her a happy 98th birthday!!!  She had trouble hearing the kids, but I know she thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone.  10 of the 12 v.p. cousins/great-grandkids were there. . .we made quite a group for her.

We painted Easter eggs with most of the v.p. cousins--amazingly no dye water spilled!  The kids had a great time outside all Sat. and only came in the house to do this--they built forts out of sticks in the grove, played in the haymouw, had a picnic and went fishing down in the pasture creek.  They all seemed to get along well and it was so nice to see them all enjoying the outdoors together!Maria and Kiara took the most time on their eggs, stripes, polkadots, etc.!  The boys tried to see what color their egg turned if
they put it in every single dye.  Kylie and Riley got along great together and Kylie finally figured out that if she wanted to have the cat stay by her, she had to pet it gently, not throw it in the air to see how it did a back flip. . .
It probably won't be very long from now and this won't happen, but on trips back from the farms, all kids sleep most of the way--exhausted from fun!Even daddy was in and out of sleep most of the way:)
